Face to Face Meeting of Trustees with I CAN Scholars on 4th August 2013

An interactive meeting between the  Founder Trustees and I CAN Scholars   (ie. candidates who have and are availing the I CAN Scholarship ) was arranged on  Sunday, the 4th of August.  More than 30 scholarships students participated at the meeting held  at the  I CAN Centre in  Roypettah.

A new  ‘Online Group’ will be created shortly exclusively for all I CAN Scholarships  students . This is to enable and facilitate speedier inter-action, more instant communication and improve networking skills.

Revised Timings and Dress Distribution – July 2013

Due to advent for the holy month of  Ramadhan  all the  regular  Classes have been conducted with different timings.

Free Medical Checkup and Results of Computer Course

Certificates were distributed to the students  who had successfully attended the following Summer Courses for one month at the I CAN Training Institute, at an event organised on June 07th.

A general medical check up for all the students, staff and parents of  I CAN TRUST and students of  KAREEMULLAH SCHOOL ( Peters Road, Royapettah ) was conducted by Dr. Mohamed Rizwan Basha , MBBS,   TG. Diabetology , on  Saturday – 22 June 2013 at the premises of I CAN Training Institute.

Overview of the Free ‘ Summer Courses ‘ recently conducted at the I CAN Training Institute

61 (sixty one)  students of different age groups,  enrolled  to enjoy and learn the three  ‘ Summer Courses ‘ that were conducted at the I CAN Training Institute  for the vacation period –  May 2013. 
Basic Computer Course :
31 students exams conducted in batches on theory and practicals of the 27th and 28th

Arts & Crafts Course :
16 students were enrolled in the training class and successfully undertook the coaching.
Jewellery Making Course :
14 students enrolled in the training programme and learnt the skills of the craft

I ) Intake for New Batches for all the courses already started and classes commenced  from March/April. 

1. Diploma in Computer Applications :  4th batch :  25 students   –  18th  March

2.   Tally :     2nd batch    :                    15 students   –    17th March

3.  Abacus – Level  I       :                    18 students  –    10th March

4.   Abacus – Level  II      :                  12 students   –   10th March

5.  DTP (newly introduced course) :    15 students   –   16th March
